America’s Army 3 – Thwarted

This, folks, is one broken game.  I couldn’t get anywhere in the interface without a system crash.  The Steam forums are full of people with the same issue.  Here’s hoping for a patch.

–UPDATE–

One day after the horrible release, word is spreading that the studio responsible for AA3 has been closed, and all employees laid off.  I’m not kidding.  Really, I’m not.  Who’s gonna fix it now?

The Return of TGP?

Maybe, just maybe.  I’ll be playing some AA3 next week, and I might just try and put a podcast together.  Stay tuned.

Ubisoft now owns everything Clancy – even an MMO…

I’m not so sure how I feel about this one.  One thing’s for sure, it leads perfectly into the podcast we’ll be releasing early next week.

“Ubisoft has announced today that they have acquired the intellectual property rights to the name Tom Clancy. This acquisition will include video games, related books and movies and merchandise.”

Shacknews is reporting the latest DLC for GRAW2 is up in the UK and will be available in the US soon. I hope that “soon” means this evening, because this is one download pack I have REALLY been waiting for.

Turning Point: Fall of Liberty Demo on Xbox Live

We talked about this on in our upcoming games episode, and I must say I’m really looking forward to seeing what it’s all about. If you get the chance to try it, let us know what you think.

Edit – I just tried it.  Take one part Wolfenstein (one bad part), add a construction site, iron sights aiming, and a heaping tablespoon of meh, and you’ve got Turning Point.

With the government holiday and being gone all weekend, I haven’t had time to edit Episode Seven. Expect it in your grubby mitts in the next few days.

Episode Eight should be released on schedule, next week.

I should also get extra credit for this post because I didn’t use numerical symbols for numbers below ten. I paid attention in Elementary School!
